Robert began his studies in sound at LaGrange College, earning a BA in Music with a focus in creative music technologies. Here, he gained foundational knowledge of the technology used to record sound.
He continued his studies into graduate school, and received his MFA in Sound Design from Savannah College of Art and Design. The courses and projects at SCAD not only refined his knowledge and use of audio technologies, but through them he also learned a great deal of concepts, methods, and techniques to craft and creatively mold audio into a wide variety of applications.
Since SCAD, he's had the opportunity to work on several projects, supporting both students, independent filmmakers, and game developers. Each of these projects has opened his mind to the potential that sound has on any given medium.
